found some savage 250-3000 brass or ammo

cool. way cool. as a young guy of 38 i sold a 1927 m99 takedown in 250/3000 'cuz the 100 and 117 grain bullets tumbled. somebody kick me again.

 

have fun and hang on to it.

 

will look deeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeep into storage and see whats left........

thanks dse for the info trying to find some with the 250-3000 head stamp biglakejake headed for big lake next week if you find some give me a call going to fish and lision to the elk for a week

I can consistently find 250 savage ammo/brass online.

I have never found brass stamped 250-3000 though.

The '3000' was dropped many years ago. I have some brass

and ammo that is probably 30 years old (estate sale luck)

and none have a 250-3000 stamp.

Here is my daughters tack driver setup.

I love shooting that pink gun

If you are still having a hard time getting brass

I could probably part with some.

Got to love an old Savage 99 in .250-3000. Sweet rifles. Remington still makes brass for it but they only do it in seasonal runs and like Jeff says its marked .250 Savage. I was surprised to see Hornady making it a few weeks ago when browsing online. I'm not a fan of Hornady brass but for the price and for an obscure cartridge you can't really go wrong.
