davecinaz Report post Posted September 5, 2007 I'm looking at a Kawasaki 700 Prairie to buy and need some advice. It's a 2004 with brand new tires and has about 1,100 miles on it (don't know the hours). The owner says it has been serviced regularly and "was his wife's so it has hardly been used"! I haven't had a chance to actually look at it since it's a couple of hours drive away from here. Any suggestions on what it might be worth and whether it would be a good first quad? I've ridden several different quads over the years, but none that big and never a Kawasaki. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks Dave
Arizona Griz Report post Posted September 5, 2007 It has a great motor that's for sure. It would be a little nicer if it had IRS but if the price is right then go for it. What are they asking for it?

The miles are pretty high for an 04, but if it has service records it may be a great buy. I'd search NADA and Craigs list for value. Good luck Buddy, stay safe. Actually those are low miles for an ATV that could be at least 3 years old. It is a powerful machine but if you buy it then you won't have to upgrade. Guess I just need to go ride it and see if I can handle it! Thanks for the advice! Dave
