You can get close but a # 3 varies significantly by manufacturer let alone what it is shanked..... And with that stock at 26", it's probably muzzle heavy, hence the questions.... If it's a Krieger, someone got an absolute steal... Wasn't a guess. I read the OP's post above all of yours that stated it was a Krieger #3 fluted. Brown precision lists the average weight of their stocks, Remington LA weighs 2lbs7oz. Talley lite weight, lapped rings weigh 2oz a piece. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
