If you hunted dove south of tucson, read this

Recommended Posts

to the guy who hunted a tank south of tucson, don't worry, i cleaned up your mess for you.you know who you are. 20 gauge Remington shells, most likely you're a poor shot with your o/u (shells found in sets of 2) and you stood on the burm next to the tank chain smoking pall malls. And if that leaves any doubt, you left about a dozen dead dove where you parked. I cleaned up the birds, over 20 shells, and the pack worth of butts you flicked.I'm sure you were gonna go back and clean up like any true sportsman/decent man would, but I just cleaned up after you because I had nothing better to do with the last half hour of shooting light today. I'll say hi if I ever see you out there, trust me.

Thanks for cleaning up for me, after the first bottle of Fire Jack, I don't remember much, just happy I made it home safe.

I'm just gonna come out and ask this. . Why are posts like this so common lately? What are we trying to accomplish? Do you think that dude is gonna read it and if he does is he gonna care? Are you simply trying to look good and get a pat on the back? Once again this is nothing against you or others that make mysterious random Posts about good deeds they do but where do you think it's gonna go?

I'm begging for a pat on the back.... I don't know where I expected it to go,maybe the douche would happen to read it,maybe I'm just venting my frustration of people with no respect for something I love so much. Why does that bother you? You hunt south of tucson and smoke pall malls or somethin?

I like the vent. It's how I was raised to believe. Judging by the perception of general character of members posting on this site I think the message resonates. I hate that these messages are necessary.

Your always ALWAYS gonna run into some dirtballs while dove hunting

ALWAYS!!!

Best you can do is clean it up if you care to and report him if you catch him doing it. Don't start a altercation with a dirtball while your both holding shotguns. ;) plus if he is smoking pall malls he might be a badarse!!! If they were non filter pall malls I would just never go back to that birm 😖

Every tank I come across in southern AZ is littered with clothes, backpacks, water jugs and other crap left by illegals...a few shot gun shells ain't gonna make it any worse, heck maybe it will scare them illegals away next time.

that really is messed up, which is a shame and contributes to the attitude that it doesnt matter about a few shot shells. be nice if everyone picked up all their trash. but the dreamers walking north arent really concerned with that

I don't dove hunt. Tired of getting shot at and not being able to return fire.

Humans really suck sometimes, I got on a back road last week and caught up to a truck going like 4 mph. I was stuck behind him for a mile or so and witnessed not one but 2 bud light cans being tossed overboard. Amazing.

Not just dove hunters.

All walks of life. Hunters, campers, hikers, patchouli smelling hippies, OHV'ers...etc.

Not sure when this changed, but more and more everyday, people just feel the need to not clean up their mess. Most think Waste Mangement will swing by and clean up after them. Maybe it's the generation where mom cleaned up after them all the time. They carried that over as a parent and the kids now learn by what dad does. Maybe it's the selfish entitlement that's prevalent today. Maybe people would rather have their face buried in their phone than to pick up the trash. Bottom line is people just don't care anymore.

Really don't know the answers other than teach our kids right from wrong and hope it sticks.
