Just offer nonres tags for a reasonable price, lots of hunters would drive in for it and spend money at their hotels, restaurants & gas stations. Where I am from in Ny, Orange Co., with every buck tag you buy, you get two doe tags FREE(3m) and can buy extras for 5$ each... With our property we can get an additional 200+tags, buck/doe whatever/whenever, night/day no season... There are "professional' hunters contracted by Towns to cull their Deer by shooting at night with suppressed rifles, Bow Hunting only groups that are contracted by Towns/landowners to help knock down the herd are active in many areas... Kinda neat to bowhunt while overlooking Marlo Thomas' estate, not so cool when arrowed Deer runs into another property and with it's dying spasms kicks out the woodwork around the back deck... as the home owners look on ...hahaha... Maybe alittle more understanding as to why I have that Bowhunting passion over Rifle hunting and pass alot of Deer, waiting on that perfect shot... cause I was/am, spoiled/blessed with an over-abundence of Deer... They want to limit deer so they limit their reproducing abilities instead of just letting people reduce their numbers?
