jhedg Report post Posted August 23, 2016 Well I have not bow hunted in a million years just getting back in to it. The thing I remembered more then anything is sloooooow down, you need only to move as fast as you can dissect everything in view before moving. Just dont go stomping through a area move tree to tree bush to bush use outline of object to hide your movement. Hunting out of a stand it totally different. Hunting travel areas bedding/travel to bedding travel to food/food to bed/ funnels/edges etc... Now if you are looking for a spot cant help you with that. I think you're making a good move trying to pair up with someone more experienced early on, rather than spend a lot of years trying to figure it out on your own.
