photofool Report post Posted August 22, 2016 This weekend while driving the back roads, looking for and picking wild berries I encountered numerous vehicles loaded with bow hunters slowing road hunting. My question is if you are road hunting why do you need to be dressed in full camo?
HuntHarder Report post Posted August 22, 2016 A few Theories: 1. They hunted the morning and then road hunted the evening. 2. Could be their good luck camo 3. Some of the Camo is more comfortable than normal clothes 4. They might need to justify all the money they spend on camo, so they need to wear it some time during the year. 5. Fair chase rules... Animals need to be alerted that the guy in the truck is not just a photographer, he is a hunter that is going to shoot at them.
ready2hunt Report post Posted August 22, 2016 I see your point but I don't think they are in camo to blend in with the truck. Why not be prepared for when you get out?

rossislider Report post Posted August 22, 2016 My biggest annoyance from the weekend was trying to get to a glassing spot just as it was getting light, but being stuck behind a road hunter going 10 mph. No matter what I did, he was not going to pull over and let me pass. This went on for about 10 miles.

If you're gonna road hunt I have no beef with that do your thing, but please get the hel! Outta the way and let people go by. If I was in my truck this weekend and not mommas brand new one I would've been rooting on some bumpers and putting guys in the ditch .. Ugh !!!
Hoss50 Report post Posted August 22, 2016 If you sit there with your horn blowing I bet they would let you by so.you would stop scaring all the deer away from the road.
