azcouesandelk Report post Posted August 30, 2007 I am heading up again early tomorow morning to do some more deer hunting and elk scouting. Last weekend I heard the first bugles of the season. Pretty sure it was the same bull but he bugled 2 times and about 200 yards apart. Hopefully it heated up a little this week and they are starting to talk. bowcrazy Report post Posted August 30, 2007 I agree still too freakin hot and last weekend when I was scouting my unit I never heard a peep from any elk, Good luck to all you that were luck enough to draw and yes you do have bragging rights it only took me seven to draw for a bull again.
