huntswnm Report post Posted August 28, 2007 A joint effort is taking place between the NM G&F and the NM Chapter of the National Wild Turkey Federation to work towards a Lottery hunt for a Goulds turkey in NM similar to what AZ has done. This pictures are from a weekend in May where we went down into the boothill to do a count/study. I believe that as a result of these efforts over the last couple of years that the Goulds is either off or almost off the endangered species list in NM allowing us to move forward with trying to get a hunt set up.
