kwp Report post Posted August 12, 2016 What pieces has he lost? Where the legs connect at the top and rotate to different angles, the pieces that lock the legs at the different angles are gone and now the rotation is sloppy. Hope that explanation makes sense. Chimichanga Report post Posted August 15, 2016 I agree with all the guys that are running promaster carbons. I've had mine a solid 3 years of use and it's still in great shape. Running it with a manfrotto 701hdv is hard to beat.
WHT_MTNMAN Report post Posted August 15, 2016 Promaster is my favorite...outdoorsman is a great tripod but not for the price...heavier and in the shop more frequently

Hope that explanation makes sense. I've had the bolts loosen in the area you describe on my Promaster pod. I pay attention the the issue and keep them tight. I'd like to think Promaster would deliver better customer service.
Couesdeer Report post Posted August 17, 2016 I just purchased a slik 624cfl and Promaster 6160. Have not hunted with it yet, but seems sturdy and weighs in at 3lbs.
