Pac8541 Report post Posted August 9, 2016 Just had this installed this afternoon by the good folks up at AZ Archery Club. It replaces the oem WC string set. I really had no idea whether or not this would be any better because what came on the bow is pretty darn good. But, I picked up 4fps and it shoots quieter. And it looks bada$$. Its only got about 30 rounds through it so we'll see but based on all the great reviews this guy gets, I fully expect it to perform flawlessly. Can't wait for the new shafts to arrive so I can build those up and see how it all does at distance. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

First time using one of his strings and although I thought I'd pick up a little more speed making the swap, the craftsmanship and cool color selection made it an exciting prospect. I'll chrono it again in a month or so and see if it improves but its not my first priority anyway. Brownell Fury material, by the way. Pac8541 Report post Posted August 13, 2016 The string set itself is $115, I ordered it with some wax for $125 total. Pretty reasonable when compared to WC or America's Best. I can't pay close to $200 for a new string. And for the record, there was nothing wrong with the WC set that came on the bow. It was performing very well and obviously, was fast enough. I will ask my mates who know more about Compound Bowstrings if they get the gist of this post, but I am sure they will have the same answer as I do. This is not good.
