rancilio Report post Posted August 5, 2016 This is 35a on the east side of the Huachucas. A couple of her friends are carrying too. Last year I saw new fawns the second week of August. She may be holding off waiting for the arc to show up. We have had 8in of rain in 5 days.

creed_az_88 Report post Posted August 5, 2016 That's right on schedule with what I see every year in border units. For what it's worth, I hunt multiple units every January and it's been a continuous trend to see most of the breeding done in the border units during the last week of January and in units 31,32,and 33 I see more does bred during the first two weeks of January. On multiple occasions I've hunted in 33 during the last few days of January and have seen bucks Bachelored up, and then the next day hunted in a border unit and been in a full blown rut fest. CatfishKev Report post Posted August 6, 2016 That's awesome. 35a is on the upswing, or she's just been hanging out at rodolphos too much.
naturebob Report post Posted August 6, 2016 Yup Edge, They say not expecting and slap Ya. But if there fat you can't tell the difference. Thats not fair to us. Lazy-H98 Report post Posted August 6, 2016 This is 35a on the east side of the Huachucas. A couple of her friends are carrying too. Last year I saw new fawns the second week of August. She may be holding off waiting for the arc to show up. We have had 8in of rain in 5 days. Is the west side of the Huachucas getting rain too? I'll be down there in 2 weeks for the archery hunt. I also have a 35A Black Friday tag.
rancilio Report post Posted August 7, 2016 I am not sure about rain on the west side. Certainly they are getting some, but I have no idea how much. One of these days I make a trip over there. And I saw big momma today again... She looks ready to burst, but I didn't ask fearing the slap.
