firstcoueswas80 Report post Posted August 4, 2016 For me backup tripod, nothing fancy but something that works and preferably not super heavy. I love the jim white and outdoorsmans heads, but not interested in spending that kind of money for this set up.
desertmafia21 Report post Posted August 4, 2016 I would look into the manfrotto 700rc2 right at 1 lb and super smooth. I love mine on my lightweight tripod setup

firstcoueswas80 Report post Posted August 7, 2016 Denogean, depends on what's offered, but not a ton. This will likely be a loaner set up.

TOBY Report post Posted August 8, 2016 I have a slik 700 and 340 same head on both and have beat them severely and still have lots of life left in them. The 340 is great medium size but I cant stand and glass with it. With a pistol grip I could. Some dont like the dual handles but I dont mind.
