standman Report post Posted August 4, 2016 My dad and I did a morning trip to San Carlos today. It took us a while to find them and figure a pattern but ended up catching some nice crappie and one catfish. Lake depth at the dam is 20ft. The end of the lake is between Jackrabbit and Mojave Pt. Allforelk Report post Posted August 5, 2016 I'm willing to supply boat, gas, and snacks/food/"beverages" for anyone that is willing to give a beginner Crappie fisherman some hands on advice. I know I'm e-scouting, I'm not ashamed. Crappie are delicious and I only catch them on accident when I plumb the desert for Smallies.
