Yeah It was crazy hot... I am a beaner but a fair skinned beaner so I must have looked like the white frosty filling in a cup-cake... :o :o :o

 

I was just grateful that I had the chance to take such a cool animal....

Not much to tell. As you well know it was very hot in N.M. over the hunt. I sat in a popup ground blind 13 hours each on the first two days. The first day I was seen by a nice buck and the second day I missed a shot at another nice buck. The third day I moved to another location and at 12 noon this buck came in to drink. I shot him at 40 yards and he ran 23 yards and fell dead.

HOLY COW.. that was the funniest thing I have heard in a long time... You make it sound so easy... what AMU were you in?
