Last Wednesday I picked up a new Tikka in 22-250 and took it with on a family trip. We went to a friends ranch for fun and relaxation and ended up painting a barn and an old bunk house....go figure. We did however, manage to get the rifles out and put the smack down on some Prairie Dogs.....and this 22-250 is a hammer. I shighted it in at 100 yards with 5 rounds and the sixth smashed a dog at 270 yards. I pretty much ignored my custom 6mm Creedmoor because this Tikka was so much fun. It seems to be just as accurate as my 7mm superlite.

Some carnage.....

Looks like fun! Can't wait to get my new 22-250 Ai to a dog town!

I would put my $500 tikka up against any custom rifle out there as far as accuracy goes.

With modern machinery, a lot of factory rifles shoot as good or better than 5k customs. Love when my stock savage .338 lapua outshoots 5k+ customs. Here is a 200 yard group out of it. .48", that's 1/4 MOA!post-63-0-47772300-1469071383_thumb.jpeg

Oh how I love Tikkas. They are extremely accurate and the action on them is smooth like butter.

Man that was a bad day for those p.dogs!

I've been considering picking me up a Tikka t3 SS in .270 or 7mm. Great looking rifles and nothing but positive things said about them.
