wendt Report post Posted July 19, 2016 My son was drawn for the junior hunt from 11/18-11/27. How is the junior camp? I have heard it is very good and informative for the young hunters. This is a new unit for us this year so I'm sure we will camp with them and get some pointers and direction from them. Time to scout and hang a camera or two. ruthunter Report post Posted November 6, 2016 IMO there shouldn't be a jr hunt in that unit at all especially after a general hunt. Having sad that a big buck can show up at any time. May be the toughest hunt in the state now but at one time was one of the most sought after desert tag. Areas I would concentrate on are vulture mtns, black mtn, EFFUS ranch and the area off gates rd. creed Report post Posted November 6, 2016 Ruthunter probably knows that unit as well as anyone. And from what I am hearing right now the general hunt guys are having problems finding deer.
