John O Report post Posted July 14, 2016 I just picked up a 7mm-08 on trade. Interested in what has worked well and what hasn't for those who are reloading. I'm much more interested in accuracy than velocity. I plan on using Horanady brass, and 139 SST's and 140 Accubonds initially. Thanks, and if anyone needs a good .243, .270, or 7mm mag load, I have a few.
Big or Bust Report post Posted July 14, 2016 Ramshot Big Game and RL-17 will get you 2900+ in a 22" tube. Varget and H4350 will get you 2800-2850... Lots of powders including the above will shoot very well. All about your rifle 's likes as loads are usually not transferable unless you are lucky or gave a great rifle... WLR or CCI is what I prefer for a lighter...

CouseforLife Report post Posted July 27, 2016 I have a 7x57 which for all intense purposes is the same cartridge. I have had excellent results with R-15 and IMR 4350. 140 grain accubonds around 1/2 inch groups at 100 yards. Maybe shoots tighter with someone else behind the gun. Work your way up to it but if memory serves I get best results from IMR4350 at 48.5 grains.
