DEERSLAM Report post Posted August 22, 2007 Just thought I would share this MONSTER that my buddy arrowed this past weekend. He got it on the second day of the B-zone archery season in northern CA. This buck will rank very high in the velvet catagory for Pope & Young as a 3x3. He would also make B&C but the velvet is not going to be stripped. A couple of measurements; 26"+ mainbeam. There are only 6 or 8 bucks recorded in B&C that have 26" or longer mainbeams. Green gross score-157. There are only 30 typical Blktails that net over 140" as 4x4's, that includes eyeguards, in B&C. This buck should net over 145. 6"+ bases. There are only about 30 typical Blktails in B&C with a mass measurement of 6" or more. Trophy of a Lifetime! DesertBull Report post Posted August 22, 2007 Thank ya much guys!! SWEET! Don't let Brent measure it. He is math challenged after he gets past 20 (10 toes and 10 fingers). Nate has 6 toes though, he is a little better.
