FYI, Sportsmans off Yorkshire had 1k of these in stock last night. Don't remember if they were the 129gr or 142gr pills.

-EDIT- They are the 129gr pills.

Ugh. So far, I hate them. Hopefully shooting some more tomorrow. If I can't get them to shoot, I will have some up for free. I sure hope I can get them to shoot though.

I listened to a pod cast at work this week with the Gunwerks guy. He said in so many words they sucked.

My nosler accurbond kick butt! The LRAB are not working. Read some of the load dates Lance is doing with them, and firstcouse80 I believe hasn't had much luck with them, but loves accurbond. Besides that the story is consistent with the other crappy grouping it's doing.

Intersting... That is all I shoot in the 7mm anymore and I have had great success. Last critter was an Audad and a hair over 560yds and he was a one and done. I want to try the ELDX but after the move I don't even have my loading gear set up. :(

LRAB won't fly worth a crap in my 280ai. But the rifle loves factory 140gr AB.

Shooting the 210 LRAB in my .300 WinMag. They were really finicky to build a load for but once I found the node, they were sub 0.5moa.

I also was running the 210 in my 300 Win. They shot lights out. Had them in the .2s and .3s consistently. Running 3 and 3-1/2" at 720 no problem. That said, the 142 shoots extremely well in my 6.5-284 but I can't get the 190 or 210 to shoot well in anything else. I'm trying 168s in a 280AI tomorrow.

I shoot 168 vld hunters in my 280ai. Kimber mtn ascent I get .5 moa. Could you share your findings with the load you have worked up?

The kimber mtn ascent is shaping up to be a very accurate rifle. I was just doing some load development with my buddies mtn ascent 308 and it's a real shooter. He's got a friend with the 280ai shooting 1:2 to sub 1:2 MOA at 300 yards as well.

I've only currently shot one group with the 168ABLR but it was promising. At some point, I'll try and fine tune them but right now I'm still testing a couple more powder and primer combos using the 162A as a baseline. I think I've narrowed my choices to H4831 or 7828SSC. Initially I had phenomenal results with RETUMBO but I was using an older lot from a single one pound bottle. When I switched to my 8 pound keg, it's a no go :(

I am using 59.5 gr of 7828SSC with a 168gr vld hunter pill. Federal 210m primers. I did a full glass bed and floated the barrel more, once I did that the groups got tight. Please keep posting data you come up with both good and bad.

I don't know where most of you guys are seating your bullets for testing, but right in the box there was a white card that said the best accuracy was found shooting the LRAB's at the SAAMI OAL.

Going from 0.010" off my lands and shooting MOA, to 0.120" off (SAAMI), my already MOA groups got steadily tighter in my stock savage 110 in 7RM while decreasing OAL.

I haven't used my reloads on game yet but my brother put a factory 168gr LRAB into a bull last December and he didn't go anywhere but south.
