peckl1 Report post Posted September 6, 2004 I drew a blank for Deer here in Arizona this year. However, My brother and I got drawn for Bull elk in 4B. We have a friend who knows a little about the unit. I will be going up there on Thursday to start scouting. So I thought I would ask the group if any of you would be willing to give out a little info on where to start? Any help would be greatly appreiciated. WHT_MTNMAN Report post Posted September 8, 2004 I've hunted 4b pretty regularly for deer and have videoed alot of elk in there, my little brother missed a good bull in there 3 years back. In the late hunt, hope for snow and look in Pierce Canyon, can be rough but very productive.

DesertBull Report post Posted September 10, 2004 (edited) Wildcat Canyon, the areas well away from the road, is always good, snow or not. Just start hiking early and take enough supplies to keep yourself out there all day. I had a client go in there last year and see six elk the first day. All 6x6 bulls. peckl1 Report post Posted September 12, 2004 I just got back from 4B today. I walked through Wagon Draw and all the adjacent ridges. Boy, I need to do more walking. I spotted several small pine trees that had just been mauled. Alot of droppings and large tracks. There is a big bull in there some where. Just hope he is still around in November.
