What do you think about this?

I like it. It's very different than other mounts. Taxidermy is art in my mind. This is a great example of taxidermy art.

that's a new "form" with the popular form companies, every year they try to come up with the newest and latest for taxidermist to add things to provide to there customers, and this is one of the newest things that they have come up with and the form like that comes in many species now, another option " money maker" the form companies/designers have started providing as an option for your trophies.....

Ya, I saw this on Mckenzie's site a few weeks ago. They have a picture of one with a zebra. Very interesting looking!

Not a fan of that at all. When I lived in superior and used to drive back and forth to tempe for work every day I saw a couple deer v semi incidents that looked just like that. I like my trophies to remind me of the animal and the thrill of seeing and being close to them, this would make me think of deer pancakes pressed flat by a 50k lb big rig.

It looks like someone got a traditional mount, but left it in the car during last weeks heat and it melted into that shape.

Interesting for sure. I think I like it. It's bridging the gap between a typical mount and 3D/relief art. Looks like it's well done too. (I can already picture the emails containing pics of this type of "mount" gone horribly wrong)
