mesajeeper Report post Posted June 20, 2016 The bag for our family tent is too small and in addition to being a pain the butt to get the tent back into it, has started to rip out. I am looking for options as to where to purchase a large canvas bag to store our tent. Any suggestions? I am not looking to spend the coin on a custom bag, but would rather buy a very large bag that the tent, poles etc. will easily fit. I look forward to you suggestions. I will hit Walmart on my way home from work today and see what they have but I am not too optimistic.

The tent is a big coleman 12 man. I would guess the current bag is approximately 48" x 14" x 14". I don't think a standard duffel bag is big enough. I need an extraordinarily large duffel:)
Str8Shot Report post Posted June 20, 2016 From the size you list .. I do not think you would have a problem using a 30x50 military duffle like this . https://www.amazon.com/Black-Giant-Zipper-Canvas-Duffle/dp/B002TSQDPC/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1466461993&sr=8-1&keywords=canvas+tent+bag

mesajeeper Report post Posted June 27, 2016 I found the perfect bag. I went to Goodwill to look for a large duffel bag and what I found was a golf club travel bag. It is well made and the tent fits perfect. Under $10 and appears almost new. Just wanted to add this update just in case someone else is looking.

Phil Beavers Report post Posted June 27, 2016 Thanks for the help. Now to find a surplus store and see what they have. They will have every size imaginable plus a few different colors to choose from! I have a couple black ones I first purchased for a Havasupai Falls hike several years ago and now I just use them for hunting and camping equipment I find them more convenient than rubber maid totes.
