Lance Report post Posted August 19, 2007 Check out the burris fullfield II...they claim to be on the same level with the Leuopold VX II for much less $. I just bought the 3-9x40...pleased so far. They offer the ballsitic plex reticle on several powers for under $350. See some comparions here: http://www.swfa.com/c-203-burris-fullfield...fle-scopes.aspx Prices online: http://www.swfa.com/pc-9039-203-burris-3-9...ifle-scope.aspx http://www.swfa.com/pc-8067-203-burris-3-9...ifle-scope.aspx http://www.swfa.com/pc-8480-203-burris-45-...ifle-scope.aspx I bought mine at Sportsmens in Tucson for basically the same price as the online listings. Keep an eye out for the combo-deals...Burriss packages their scopes with GPS units, etc. YES! I Love these scopes! Get the 4X14 power Ballsitic Plex. Compare the clairity of Burriss to any scope and see for yourself. Lance
Diamondbackaz Report post Posted August 19, 2007 Well lets put it this way, my friend who is a rifle shooter who goes to the range 3 to 4 times a week and has 15 rifles, most of them magnums. He has used burris, bushnell, B&L and many others. All of his scopes are now leupold, He sold all the others. I have six leupolds and wouldn't consider anything else. I believe they also make the largest variety of selection to meet your needs.
azhuntnut Report post Posted August 21, 2007 Nikon buckmaster-93% light transmission, waterproof, shockproof, and fogproof. Plus they have a 25 year no fault warranty. I have three of the Burris scopes, and two of them have had some kind of foreign object show up inside of the scope. I think the glass is a little clearer and brighter on the Nikons. You might even be able to find last years model Monarch on sale online somewhere. They have 95% light transmission. David
