STS45 Report post Posted June 17, 2016 Selling my dad's Winchester Model 70 FWT in 30-06. This was purchased new in 2014 and has been used successfully on three hunts - one bull elk, one cow elk, and one mule deer. It is very accurate and hands down the smoothest Model 70 out of all of my Model 70s'. The bolt is ridiculously smooth. Approximately 50 rounds fired. Easily shoots MOA or better, especially likes Barnes factory 180 grain TTSX which it will group well under a inch for three shots. In great shape, has one or two hunting nicks but that is all. Nice wood on the stock. Dad is 75 and has decided my Kimber Montana in 270 suites him better. Comes with a Leupold VXIII 3x9 scope mounted in Talley's. Great, classic rifle that shoots well, carries well, and is smoooooooth. SC made gun, not Portugal. $925 shipped.
