Big Browns Report post Posted June 17, 2016 I'm considering using my 2 pts for a general season deer tag next year. Anyone have any unit suggestions? stanley Report post Posted June 17, 2016 Love Utah! I had hunted the Navajo Lake / Panguitch area for several years (both rifle and archery). Lots of deer there, but lots of people. We then switched to the Nine Mile unit 2 out of the past 3 years, rifle. (Just N.E. of Price) I like Nine Mile..... Big country, and there are plenty of areas with not much road access. Good to hike in and get away from the crowds. Like almost any unit in Utah, there are some decent deer there. 140 is definitely possible, IMO.
