257wby Report post Posted June 10, 2016 I got a question for you guys. When hunting coyotes, are you required to take the pelt and dispose of the body, or can they be left in the field? Thanks, Mike

PRDATR Report post Posted June 10, 2016 No need to take them. But don't leave them out in plain sight where non hunters will run across them. Drag them off a ways, the birds will find them soon enough.
654321 Report post Posted June 10, 2016 You can leave them where they hit the ground if you would like.
Edge Report post Posted June 11, 2016 I'm hunting in remote enough areas no one will come across the remains. Which is good, I don't want to touch the Fleabags. Summer is worst for the skin parasites; ticks, mites, lice, fleas capable of carrying everything from plague to tapeworms. Did you know a flea can leap over a foot? They're the kangaroos of the parasite world.
