Wrk2Hnt Report post Posted June 10, 2016 Looking to sell a Winchester model 47. More of a collectable than anything. Some of the chrome plating on the bolt is worn off and bluing is worn, bore looks good. No cracks or major dings in the stock. I picked it up since they are unique old guns and there weren't that many every made. I ended up cleaning it up and putting it back in the safe. $225 (Can throw in a couple hundred rounds if that sweetens the deal). All I know about them is they didn't make a lot of them (about 43,000). They were made from 1948-1954. And they were the only Winchester at that time that automatically cocks the bolt when it is pulled back which then automatically puts the safety on. Located in Chandler (602)571-3246 Can text more pictures.
lancetkenyon Report post Posted June 10, 2016 I have one of these that I got from my great-grandmother when I was 5 or 6. I have killed hundreds of lizards, rabbits and squirrels with mine. Super accurate.
