zackcarp Report post Posted June 9, 2016 my last experience with the "so called " hopeless - working a job on 1-10 and Dysart nice restaurant drive way his hang out- seen guy 55+ everyday like 9 till 1 . I see people give him food and money - I'm working on sidewalk - someone gives him a real nice bag of hot food - he comes over and ask me if I want the cheeseburger cuz he can only eat the fries - lactose thing ? got to talkin he's on his southern route makin 10K -15 k a yr he's staying at the hotel across the freeway $ 39 night drives a newer vehicle than I did . says he never gets up till 8:30 to go to work - lol after 4 hrs he's done for the day I never give a dollar anymore - I'll offer water I met a guy in McAllen Tx one time say he made up to 40 grand a year! I never help a homeless guy, but had a well groomed home life guy needed food, I had a women stop me at a grocery store needed food for her kids. The ones I have a hard time saying "No" to are the ones that say they're single moms with kids. If they are lying to me, they can explain it when they meet their Maker. Young woman was getting the full treatment and telling the owner how she got healthcare and help with food and housing from the gubmint and how to work the system.
