brademan76 Report post Posted June 9, 2016 Asking about the bore, I'm asking when you shine a light down it, is it still bright with good rifling, or is the rifling worn/hard to make out and is there corrosion? Looking at the the closer photos, my guess is at least that the wood has been refinished, possibly the metal too-just comparing finish on hammer vs rest of receiver. Considering any refinish, the drilled holes, caliber (seems somewhat rare), the serial number/date of manufacture, etc. I'm going to say it will appraise under $4k.
