In the very, very, very slim chance you ever find yourself in a bad place, the $50 that seems like a big deal now will seem far more trivial then. You will be happy either way. Probably right. cosninocanines Report post Posted August 25, 2016 I'm researching this topic and I'm pretty sure I'm ready to pull the trigger on the Delorme Inreach Explorer. Everything I've read indicates this is a reliable unit. I will continue using my Garmin Oregon as my navigation tool but do need a "communication" tool when I'm in the pucker brush. 1 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
