Snapshot Report post Posted June 3, 2016 With temps in the desert at blstering levels, I would head for the high country. I've fished Lee's Ferry when it was at 100 plus degrees. Not much fun fishing, or camping
PhxDT Report post Posted June 6, 2016 I am likely going to camp on the east side of Chevelon Lake. Anyone think that is a terrible idea? Going to fish the stream and lake.

PhxDT Report post Posted June 12, 2016 So we ended up doing Chevelon Lake. Bummer, but the last mile down to the dam was blocked off. We camped about 1.5 miles from the lake. The rim road was crazy green, as a side note. Also note to self: check the weather before you go into the mountains. If it is going to rain cats/dogs and horny toads, then at least time your trip so that you don't setup the popup in the crazy rain.
PhxDT Report post Posted June 12, 2016 also, I rotated those upside-down photos 3 times and re-uploaded. They still show wrong, so gave up!
