Jimmer Negamanee Report post Posted May 29, 2016 Wow! Pretty sure I don't have the intestinal fortitude for that. That GoPro footage at the end is wild. Also, it has a clip of one of my favorite Corb Lund song: The Truth Comes Out. Here's a link if anyone wants to listen to all of it:

Snapshot Report post Posted May 29, 2016 That guide looked a little nervous. I would be too. Reminds me of that old footage of Fred Bear, taking a big Brown bear with a recurve bow.
PRDATR Report post Posted May 29, 2016 Great footage and a reminder why non-residents need to hunt with a guide.

Whitesheep Report post Posted June 3, 2016 So, if the bear was finished with a rifle, how is this an archery hunt?
trphyhntr Report post Posted June 3, 2016 So, if the bear was finished with a rifle, how is this an archery hunt? I'll go out on a limb and say it's because the hunter was using a bow and arrow

DesertBull Report post Posted June 3, 2016 I've always felt the guide requirement was pure crap. If I do something stupid, it's on me, that said, I shouldn't expect anyone to risk their lives to come save me. I would most likely never do it alone, but it should be my choice. The WY law is particularly stupid. I can hike, camp, fish etc in a wilderness area but can't hunt there, not even a deer hunt, without a guide. But if I live in WY I can.
pwrguy Report post Posted June 3, 2016 The guide requirement is protectionism at it's best. What you need is a buddy with a huge rifle if you are going to chase those things with a stick and string.
