Hunterjohnny Report post Posted May 24, 2016 What song do you want played at your funeral? For me it's Simple Man - Lynyrd Skynrd I hope you didn't get bad news from the doctor, or anything of the sort! Ha! Page 2 before that thought crossed our minds! Jimmer Negamanee Report post Posted May 25, 2016 Interesting post DesertBull. Thank for thinking of it. I like all the suggestions and have been exposed to different music because of this post. I've got several songs but I really like this one, especially because it deals with his idea of an afterlife: Harry McClintock's Big Rock Candy Mountains Maybe we coues deer hunters could add a verse or two. "Where every day is opening day And you always draw a tag Where you get your deer, every year And you never have to brag." Or something like that.

twigsnapper Report post Posted May 27, 2016 I asked my wife to have me strapped to a tree in the Big Horn Mountains of WY, pour honey and bbq sauce on my head, put the fox pro on wounded rabbit and put a cold one in my hand. Apparently this is frowned on. She said No. Vince Gill - Go Rest High on that Mountain - is a great choice. couesmagnet Report post Posted May 27, 2016 Not because of lyrical content so much, but for a pure jam more so. An uplifting song that covers old metal to new metal. Grand funk railroad, "inside looking out" live version 1969. Even at a funeral people would def be tapping their toes!!
