My Uncle is from Bakersfield and it's a way different view point than what is above and below them. The were trying to get California to be separated into different voting so the middle of California could actually have a voice. Lots of farmers, oil etc in that area.

I don't know much about California but my guess is that northern California, tucked up neatly against liberal strongholds like Oregon and Washington has its share of liberals.

really sad state of affairs here boys, Im from southern Cali... still am...for now, Grew up on a dairy farm till I was almost 13, Family moved to the High desert and luckily for me we had thousands of acres of open desert out the back door.

With a family of my own now I hope to be out of here before my kids hit school!

Crazy part is I will miss the hunting here....I can hunt every year here from august to the end of Dec. on OTC tags....FOR NOW...yes this state has gone to heck in a hand basket...sad really...one day I will call Az home!!!!

The handle was pulled years ago and now its circling the drain.... I was fortunate to leave Ca last year and I cannot believe what I'm seeing. I still have a lot of family there and honestly cannot stand to go back, the stress fills my body. Bruce.... do it for your family... Besides the fact that most trends start in California, I could care less what California does to its people.besides the ocean it's a tumor of our country.
