Saguaro Report post Posted May 14, 2016 I cant speak for unit 10. One time I believe in 1994 I had a deer permit in 8 with my dad and BIL. I think there were about 800 permits at that time, maybe more. Hunters were everywhere and all we were seeing were does. One day we were in the truck road hunting and spotted a fork running down a hill that had an obvious wound. We bailed out and I dropped it. I walk up to it, it gets up and runs down another hill. All we heard were people unloading on it below the hill about 50 yards away. We left right away. That deer went through at least three people before it was killed, it was kind of scary. I wont hunt unit 8 anymore because of that. You might want to plan on wearing a little blaze orange. I wouldn't have any problem doing that if I was in your shoes. That's a lot of people for those two days, especially since a lot of them might take long range shots. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
