Born to hunt Report post Posted May 14, 2016 Hi just wondering if I can get any info on the lower Salt River trout fishing around this time of year.I'm going out this Sunday to spend some time with my little man and would like to have a little heads up on what to bring with me thank you. trphyhntr Report post Posted May 14, 2016 I always caught them on chartreuse power eggs. I parked in that dirt lot just past granite reef and walked back there waded out over the flat and tossed into the channel and let it drift down.
Born to hunt Report post Posted May 16, 2016 Thank you very much for your advice. Me and my little man hit it on Sunday morning a little bit north of what you told me and we came up with 7 trout total and a couple of small bass between me and him and next weekend We will be heading to Lake Pleasant for some stripers never caught one or seen one in person but heard it's a lot of fun to catching them thank you again for your advice
