Oh! You are talking about an appliance. I thought Edge shot one of his employees.

someday I'll have to tell you that story, perhaps over a Blake's Lottaburger?

You guys are killing me! I miss Blakes!!!! Now I'm Jonesing for a green chile cheeseburger!
Right! When I first moved to Los Lunas, NM, ordered a burger and was asked, "Red or green?" Ate, got a Carwash and had an A1 day.

I right now am eating a Blake's Breakfast burrito. Bacon and red chile. Their hamburgers are still pretty good but not what they were back in the 70's-80's.

Someone asked if they still write the order on the bag?

They don't here. It is all computerized where they put it in the register, it shows on the screen for the food prep, and they tape the receipt to the bag and put it in order.

We had to memorize the menu and the code that we wrote on the bag. I guess that's too much to ask for from people anymore.

$3.35 and I worked 30-40 hours a week in high school. We had a blue haired lady hard a$$ manager who taught how to count change(already knew) ,work hard and do a good job or down the road you went. All of us were high school - college students. Such a simpler time.
