Basser15 Report post Posted May 10, 2016 Finally got around to getting some deer to the processor to make sausage and snack sticks through Denmark Sausage and they informed me that as of the first of the year they no longer accept wild game. Pretty bummed as they made awesome summer sausage and snack sticks. Where do you guys from the NW valley take your game for sausages? With deer I package my own steaks and roasts but then take the loose meat for sausage once I get enough for a big run. And I'm not currently interested in processing my own as I just don't have the time are space right now.

Allforelk Report post Posted May 10, 2016 ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^DEFINITELY! Von Hanson's is a great shop. As of a couple years ago, they would also take a whole animal for processing also.

metau Report post Posted May 10, 2016 Von Hanson's makes an awesome jalepeno cheddar smoked sausage. If you are looking for cheap processing, Maricopa skills center is the place to get it done.
Basser15 Report post Posted May 10, 2016 Von Hansons is who I had heard about from several people but was just hoping for someone closer. Will have to make the trek over there one of these days.
