bojangles Report post Posted May 7, 2016 Tagging onto your question as it relates to you, I wonder if these units will be quite as desirable as recent years with the archery hunters running around.. Part of the appeal to these units have been knowing there were only 50 others out chasing.. IMO. I hadn't thought about the impact the archery hunt would have on these areas. i'd say there's a bunch of land in 22 that never sees a soul all year long, much less a bowhunter. i don't see any of us dragging our bows over the mazatzals. there's a big stretch of land there, and other places as well. us bowmen are in treestands in the high country, or sitting tanks in the desert near our trucks.
naturebob Report post Posted May 7, 2016 If You can hike You will be ok . The Cheaters, I mean Baiters and i mean Camera over bait , I mean bow hunters won't bother You a few miles in. I'm in the same boat 9 points and dont want to wait 10 more years for the strip carp tag.. I would be as happy with a 190 off of the BAB as a 220 from the strip. I'M still up in the air. A month to go on decision time. Or You can go bait under Your Camera in August and call Yourself a trophy hunter. Yes You Guys can feel guilty ,You know who You are. Hope You enter it in the book too. LOL..............................Gotta get You guys going..........................BOB!
