bonecollector777 Report post Posted April 30, 2016 Wanted to share a pic of an amazing set of sheds I bought last night. This 5x5 has a main 5x5 frame that scores 386". Adding on his 3 inch fifth and the 7 inch extra on his fourth he is 396". Every one of his first second and third points is 22-23 inches long. 24 inch fourth on his left and 57 inch beams. Good mass at about 31 inches per side. 40 inch spread credit and he's there! They are the heaviest antlers I've ever bought at 15.5 pounds a piece. 8 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

Your horns look every bit as heavy and surprised they didn't hit the 17 pound mark.I think what kept this bull from getting that high on weight is his mass up top is just average. His first mass measurement was really big at 11 inches and then his next measurement was 7 inches and the last two were just a hair under 7. Apache7mm Report post Posted May 1, 2016 Very impressive set and weight especially since it doesn't have a ton of extras adding weight, anything over 14 lbs is giant. Since we're all talking heaviest, the heaviest I ever heard of was roughly 17 lbs but this year a couple tribal members on San Carlos scored a clean 6x6 set that weighed 19 pounds per side!
