AZkiller Report post Posted April 26, 2016 Sunday morning in 5a was beautiful , not one gobble! One half the hunters say it's over, the other half say it hasn't started. What's the consensus amongst the turkey pros? Today is horrible! Looking like this coming weekend will be more of the same. I'm no where near a pro but turkey are very vocal birds they talk all year and can be called in all year round it's never over. No where near a pro! A pro once told me only belive half of what you hear and nothing that you read! That being said Trkhntr is definitely NOT a pro!!

120carp Report post Posted May 5, 2016 I'll be out this weekend too in the wind. We'll see what happens. Might take tomorrow off to go watch the Captain America movie instead.
AZ8 Report post Posted May 6, 2016 Yeah, I'm skipping this weekend. Not because of the wind. Staying in town for Mother's Day. Going to take my chance on the last weekend. Hope there's no wind! Good luck out there. Bring your rain gear!
muledeerarea33? Report post Posted May 6, 2016 I'll be braving the wind this weekend too. Cat fishing lol. Tagged my bird in the early season.
120carp Report post Posted May 10, 2016 The wind wasn't that bad. It was the rain and snow. Got on birds every day we went out. Took my 5 year old out with us. He got to see dad mess up a setup on two huge longbeards last night. The breaks of bowhunting.
