Five years in a row for my Duaghter

My daughter has taken her 5th Turkey and the last four years she has done so on opening morning. Had a great time even though the weather sucked. Also took a young man who has never hunted big game on his first ever hunt. He was able to take a big tom on Saturday. I think he is hooked for life and wants to put in for deer.

congrats to your daughter. this is a great hunt for youth's. I'm glad she hasn't put in for deer in the past with her turkey success there might not be any deer remaining. Thanks for sharing

TRKHNTR- Oh she isn't the person I was referring to regarding putting in for deer. That young man is a friend of the family and had never hunted before. My daughter has taken four deer one of them being with a bow. Her mule deer from last year won her first place in the weight division of our local big buck contest. She is quit the huntress. One lucky guy YEARS from now is going to owe me big time for raising his wife right.
