I just did 4 days in a wilderness in shape well equipped and prepared, and it was tough. I can't imagin 9 days in a busted Prius

Happened to watch the Channel 12 interview after work today, pretty sure she lived on mushroom tea and peyote while she was out there. But kudos to her for being able to survive for 9 days on limited supplies. One of the reporters asked her to recap the moment she realized she was in trouble...this was her response.

Am i missing something? Surviving for 9 days in the wilderness is hard and freakish? Just dont get it. Pretty sure i would have no problem living for a few years in the wilderness. Water is everywhere, food is easy to come by, shelter easy to make. Az is one of the easiest states to live in the wild. Winters are mild at best. Whats the big deal?

She had gas in her Prius but didn't want to pollute the environment, but no plug in to charge the battery. We should have plug ins in the wilderness for hippies. And there should be directions in every Prius concerning what to do when the battery goes dead.
