I was able to harvest my first coues buck with my bow on December 15. went in to a spot that i hadn't hunted for quite a while with my girlfriend. Pulled into my glassing spot and as i got out of my truck This buck hopped out of the tank just below me. I grabbed my bow and headed his way. He held up in the wash just below the tank and I was able to send one his way at 60 yards through the top of a tree down into the wash. My arrow clipped a branch and sent my arrow to the right and right through his neck. He spun up the hill spraying blood and held up under a tree. I was able to circle around him to 4o yards and put the finish on him. He is not a giant but for my first with my bow I am very happy. 8 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
