AmericanThunder Report post Posted April 2, 2016 I posted in the classified section, but thought I would post here as well..... Anyone know of any feed stores or other places in the valley that sell mature quail (most likely bobwhites) that can be used for training purposes? I have found online retailers that sell day old chicks and eggs, but would prefer not to raise them if I don't have to.
wildwoody Report post Posted April 2, 2016 Ya the only way we could ever get them was eggs or checks a nd you better have a receipt for them or big fines. Goodluck
Phil Carr Report post Posted April 3, 2016 Most of us train with Bobwhite quail. There is no issue using these for training or field trials in AZ. You can get a free permit from G&F to train in the field with them. I buy mine here in Tucson. If you can not find any PM me and I will get you in touch with guys that raise them. Usually run $5.00 to $6.00 each.
