More D Report post Posted March 25, 2016 I will only take what I am going to eat and anti's don't like me.....wonder what they will say to the wolves?
.270 Report post Posted March 25, 2016 This is typical for wolves. Always has been. There is all kinds a documentation of a few wolves killing dozens of cattle or sheep in one night and not eating any of them. This is why the gov't eradication program was started. Just wolves bein' wolves. Lark

elkslare Report post Posted March 26, 2016 WOW what a joke. I think it is time to let the individual state fish and game take care of there own fish and game problems. Each state is different and unique in its own way. Just ask Alaska. I did a moose hunt up there few years back and talked to a fish and game boy up there. He told me to buy a wolf tag. only cost, I think at that time 30 35 bucks. He told me if i get a shot opportunity at a wolf to make dam sure there were a couple wolves standing behind it. The Fish and game guy was outraged on how many moose they were finding dead from wolves but not eaten. Sport killing by the wolves. Lot of the moose units up there are devastated from the wolves and the guides no longer offering hunts in those units. SSS
naturebob Report post Posted March 26, 2016 Sad they have no control of the situation. I have heard of outfitters packing in deep and seeing only 50-100 Elk where they used to see 500 plus up in Wyoming and Montana. Its started here too.............SSS...............BOB! ThomC Report post Posted March 26, 2016 It is all part of the anti's long term plan. If wolves can keep the elk/deer population down then there will be no need for hunting to manage the population. Then once they get hunting stopped then there will be no need for guns.
Edge Report post Posted March 26, 2016 Friends of mine were outfitters in central MT. They had regular clientele coming out annually from back east for deer, elk and Antelope. My friends didn't have to travel more than 90 minutes to fill all three tags. Within a few years of reintroducing the wolves, the game is gone. Now it's a minimum 2 day ride with pack animals into the Bob Marshall before seeing deer and elk again.
