Picked up my cam cards

Recommended Posts

Well I went out this weekend and swapped out my cam cards. One camera had 48 pics and one had 998. The one with 48 were almost all deer and the one with 998 only had 2 deer and lots of sun going up and down. I pulled the one with the most deer because it wasn't in the unit I got drawn for. I am planning on putting it up in a new spot. I also relocated the 998 cam to a different tree and see if it works better.

It rained most of the time and all the stock tanks are overflowing. Everything is green and looks like should be good year for antler growth. I saw five mule deer from the road and took a pic of small fork buck about 50 yards from truck. I also glassed up 9 coues with 2 being smallish bucks. I also watched a pretty large bear cross a hillside about 800 yards out.

peloncillo,

Take a compass with you when you set up your cams......face them as much north and south as possible......that should solve your problem. If you face them east/west you are going to continue to get lots of sunrise and sunset pics. Sometimes it's just not possible but if it is try that.

Great pics too!
