Jay Scott Report post Posted March 19, 2016 CWT Members, Colburn and Scott Outfiiters is offering DIY and fully outfitted Coues deer hunts in Sonora, Mexico for the 2016/2017 fall season next year. We have found many great ranches this offseason scouting new properties. Our DIY hunter groups last year did quite well with some of the biggest bucks scoring 122, 125 and 126. Our guided hunters also did quite well with the best bucks scoring 112, 112, 117, 127. The DIY option goes like this: the hunters will be responsible for their own food, guiding, transportation on and off the ranch, bringing their own firearm and ammo. We can arrange for things such as a cook, an escort to and from the ranch and cowboy/packer/skinner. Most ranches include a ranch house to stay in and some do not. We can customize trips for big or small groups.
