I worked in IT for a couple of state agencies a few years back and the level of incompetence really floored me. There are a handful of quality workers busting their tails to get things done the right way, It's really amazing what they're able to accomplish in light of all of the obstacles you mentioned above, in addition to the dead weight workers that seem to thrive on doing everything possible to hinder and slow the progress of those actually working. wish2hunt Report post Posted March 28, 2016 I just spoke with the Department the said they expected to draw to happen within the next 2 to 3 weeks and would not give me any more information than thatWhen I spoke to the lady this morning she said they hoped to have it fixed by the end of week and then run the draw. HNTNGUY Report post Posted March 28, 2016 Ok so I went a little farther than to speak with just Sissy (raspy voice) or Kathy in the hunt draw and talked to Jim Paxon himself. What is going on is- they had over 100 applicants who changed their sportsmans ID from their SSN and now have to merge reports. He did in fact say they have a lot of records to "clean up" and that he couldn't give me an exact time frame but "should be completed in a few weeks". Another member said that they are doing the draw manually and that is definitely not the case according to AZGFD! Whether it is simply incompetence or something more sinister Idk, But I don't see how something could get messed up with a year to prepare. How can I possibly have good faith in something that gets screwed up every year. $13 app fees too. I'm checking out of this thread.
